The tireless efforts of Leuva Patel community leaders over the past 35 years have culminated in a historic milestone with the successful acquisition of 16 bighas of prime land in central Amreli for the construction of the grand Leuva Patel Society building, a project strongly championed by NCUI Chairman Dileep Sanghani.
The initiative, rooted in decades of dedication and vision, aims to provide a platform for the community’s unity, development, and education.
Addressing a key meeting regarding the project, Sanghani expressed pride in the community’s achievements and emphasized that the upcoming society building would serve as a beacon of progress for the Leuva Patel community.
“This building will symbolize our collective strength, courage, and commitment to growth,” he said, assuring community members of full security and support in this ambitious venture. He recalled the visionary ideas of the late Dayabapa Hirani and highlighted the role of the Patel community in embracing development with determination and pride.
The roots of this initiative trace back to the educational and social vision of Rajratna Mohanbhai Virjibhai Patel, who laid the foundation for holistic development through institutions such as the Patel Vidyarthi Ashram. Over the years, leaders like Drarakadasbhai Patel, Leelaba Patel, and NCUI Chairman Sanghani himself have carried forward this vision, expanding opportunities for education, social welfare, and community progress in Amreli.
During the meeting, the original landowners, the Senjalia family, were felicitated for their cooperation in facilitating the land acquisition. Community leaders and prominent industrialists, including Kalubhai Bhanderi, P.P. Sojitra, D.K. Raiyani, Kantibhai Vaghasia, Ashwinbhai Savalia, Manish Sanghani, Rajeshbhai Mangrolia, Mehulbhai Dhorajia, and Bhavnaben Gondalia, shared detailed plans regarding the construction process and pledged ongoing support to ensure timely completion.
Sanghani emphasized that the new Leuva Patel Society building will not only stand as a symbol of the community’s unity but also serve as a hub for education, social welfare, and collective growth. “The Patel community has always embraced bold and visionary initiatives,” he said. “This project reflects our shared commitment to a brighter and stronger future.”
