Goa based Samata Multipurpose Coop Society recently organized a workshop on “charter of self Governance and best practices” for the benefits of the directors of cooperative credit societies. Goa Cooperative Minister, Mahadev Naik was the chief guest on the occasion.
Sahakar Bharti patron Satish Marathee shared the photograph of the event on the social media. He wrote on face book “With a view to ensure protection of Depositors, the Charter of Self Governance and Best Practices has been drafted by a Committee of Experts constituted by the National Executive Committee of Sahakar Bharati”.
He further said Sahakar Bharati has made a fervent appeal to the entire coop credit sector to adopt and implement the 12 point charter in a time bound manner.
