A fertilizer Cooperative Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) had recently joined hands with Lucknow dairy cooperative, Pradeshik Cooperative Dairy Federation Ltd (PCF) for the distribution of urea in the Uttar Pradesh.
The high profile meeting was held between the KRIBHCO Managing Director N.Sambasiva Rao and PCF Chairman Aditya Yadav last week. The outcome of the meeting was decision to sell Kribhco fertilizers by the PCF in Financial Year 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 respectively.
According to sources, PCF will distribute 2 lakh quintals of certified seeds of Rabi and Kharif, Urea, DAP as well as bio-fertilizer to the farmers of the state.
The target for the financial year 2015-2016 in rabi season is to distribute 1.5 lakh quintals of KRIBHCO wheat seeds to the farmers. PCF will distribute this through Agriculture centers, Cooperative Societies, Sugarcane Cooperative Societies to the farmers of UP at reasonable rates.
Kribhco produces Urea, DAP, Certified Seeds, Bio-Fertilizer, Compost manure etc.
Readers would note that Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh Yadav and PCF Chairman Aditya Yadav belong to same political party namely Samajwadi Party. While the former is a protégé of Mulayam Singh Yadav, latter is his nephew.
