Netizens go hysterical on Modi’s birthday, co-operators chip in too

The countless members of the Twitterati have wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 69th birthday. Cooperators have chipped in as well on the occasion. Within an hour all the major trends on Twitter were focused on Modi’s birthday wishes.

Being celebrated in the background of “Howdy Modi”, an event in which the US President has expressed his desire to participate, fans of Modi have gone hysterical. If BJP workers in Bhopal cut a 69 feet long cake to mark his birthday, Delhi workers ran to India Gate midnight to celebrate his birthday.

Amul tweeted a film of all the topicals which it had brought in past, encapsulating all his achievements as the PM. This was promptly retweeted by GCMMF Managing Director R S Sodhi.

The film displays various themes and intelligently portrays Modi as the statesman. It obliquely says how Modi made China lose its sleep over Dokhlam, how he consoled Sivan on the failure of Chandrayan 2 or how he is concerned over the global warming, for that matter.

The GCMMF tweet concluded by saying “36 million farmers of Amul wish their Prime Minister a very happy 69th birthday.”

Similarly, IFFCO also wished Modi saying “30 thousand co-op societies and 5 crore farmers of the IFFCO family wish their Prime Minister a very happy birth day.”

IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi also wished for his long and healthy life in his tweet. His tweet read “Heartiest Birthday greetings to Hon’ble PM on his 69th birthday. May almighty bless you with healthy & long prosperous life. May you succeed in your New India vision. The country is heading towards New India under your visionary leadership.”

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar greeted Modi in Hindi and called him hope of the New India. Chemical Minister Sadanand Gowda wished him a long and healthy life. “We admire you for taking the Nation to its highest level. You are the source of inspiration to many”, Gowda said.

Known for celebrating his birthday in a unique manner Modi will be in Gujarat to see the water level in the Sardar Sarovar Dam at Kevadiya in Narmada district reaching its highest capacity at 138.68 metres for the first time since its height was raised.

Modi would pay call on his mother Heerabai which he never misses to do on the occasion.

His party led by Amit Shah has decided to observe a ‘Seva Saptah’ from September 14 to 20 for his birthday. Several exhibitions will also be held that will depict the social work done by PM Modi.
