The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF), which once struggled to stay afloat, has scripted a historic turnaround by achieving a record sales turnover of Rs 8,270.86 crore and a net profit of Rs 216.53 crore in the financial year 2024-25.
The federation also declared a 20% dividend for its shareholders, up from 15% earlier.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NCCF, held last week, was described as one of the most vibrant in its history, with delegates from across the country lauding the performance and unanimously passing key resolutions.
The meeting was attended by NCCF Chairman Vishal Singh, Vice Chairman Yashpal Singh Yadav (virtually), and senior cooperative leaders including Chandra Pal Singh Yadav, Bijendra Singh, Dileep Sanghani, Sunil Kumar Singh, Virendra Singh, Ajay Rai, Pradeep Choudhary, and NCCE MD Anice Joseph.

Singh emphasized that NCCF, traditionally focused on consumers, has now expanded its reach to farmers, playing a key role in stabilizing prices of onions and tomatoes by purchasing crops under MSP, PSF, and PSS schemes. He credited Union Ministers Amit Shah and Pralhad Joshi, among others, for their continued support in NCCF’s journey to new heights.
NCCF has also partnered with NCOL under the Bharat brand, besides exporting products to countries such as Zambia and Malawi. Looking forward, Singh announced plans for a gala event to mark the conclusion of International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025, along with the rollout of ERP solutions to ensure transparency.
Presenting the agenda, MD Anice Joseph said NCCF is determined to expand new lines of business while strengthening existing operations.
Delegates from across India shared valuable suggestions, which were welcomed and approved at the meeting.
