Haryana vigilance bureau has arrested a cooperative official on Thursday.
Bal Kishan Verma, an inspector in Cooperative Society, Shahbad has been caught by the bureau.
Mr Verma was allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 3,000 from a resident of Gumti village, in Kurukshetra district.
Cases had been registered against the accused under Prevention of Corruption Act, he added.
