Infosys Founder concerned with cooperative mafias

Infosys founder Narayan Murthy has expressed his profound shock at the killing of a govt official who had exposed serious irregularities in some land allotments made by the cooperative housing societies in and around Bangalore.

He has called upon the govt to protect the men of probity and honesty working in the govt.

He said this was the most basic duty of the govt and there was absolutely no scope for any compromise on it.

Mr Murthy and Infosys Director Mohandas Pai warned that the govt’s failure to protect its honest officers would cause the common people to lose their faith in the country’s political system.
