IFFCO lights up Diwali for Employees, ensures Rs 20K take home minimum salary for Staff

Bringing festive cheer to its workforce, the world’s largest fertilizer cooperative giant, IFFCO, has announced a major Diwali gift for its contractual employees.

In its Board meeting held on Friday, under the chairmanship of IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, the Board approved an increase in net wages to Rs 20,000 per month for unskilled contractual manpower, with proportionate hikes for semi-skilled and skilled workers across all IFFCO units.

The new wage structure, effective from November 1, 2025, is expected to enhance financial stability and bring joy to thousands of IFFCO employees and their families nationwide.

This employee-centric decision, aimed at improving the livelihood and morale of the contractual workforce, will entail an additional financial outlay of around Rs 140 crore for the organization.

Speaking to Indian Cooperative, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani said, “IFFCO has always believed that our employees are the backbone of the organization. This decision reflects our commitment to their welfare and recognizes their invaluable contribution to IFFCO’s growth.”

Following the announcement, IFFCO employees expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chairman Sanghani and pledged to continue contributing to the organization’s progress with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

IFFCO’s decision has drawn appreciation across the cooperative sector, being seen as a timely and compassionate gesture of goodwill and solidarity during the festive season.
