In a significant step toward accelerating industrial growth in Andhra Pradesh, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani met the state’s Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday. The meeting focused on the progress and future roadmap of the IFFCO Kisan SEZ, one of the state’s key upcoming industrial hubs.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu extended a warm welcome to the IFFCO delegation and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to facilitating the rapid development of the project.
Calling the IFFCO Kisan SEZ “crucial for Andhra Pradesh’s industrial development,” the Chief Minister directed officials to provide immediate support and necessary clearances to ensure smooth progress.
Dileep Sanghani described the discussion as “meaningful and highly positive,” stating that the project would gain renewed momentum with the state government’s support. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for his proactive approach and prompt cooperation, noting that such support would help lay a strong foundation for the state’s industrial and economic growth.
The meeting included detailed deliberations on the SEZ’s current status, future expansion possibilities, and ways to enhance cooperation between IFFCO and the state administration.
The discussions were attended by Andhra Pradesh Industries Minister T.G. Bharat, Industries Department Secretary Dr. N. Yuvaraja (IAS), IFFCO Managing Director K.J. Patel, Joint Managing Director Rakesh Kapoor, IFFCO Kisan SEZ Managing Director T. Sudhakar, and Nellore Collector Himanshu Shukla (IAS).
The engagement marks a significant step in strengthening collaboration between IFFCO and the Andhra Pradesh government, promising to accelerate the region’s industrial development through the IFFCO Kisan SEZ.
IFFCO Kisan SEZ is a special economic zone being established in Andhra Pradesh under the initiative of IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited). Its main objective is to promote agro-based industries and fertilizer production, create employment opportunities for farmers, and boost the state’s industrial growth.
Through this SEZ, manufacturing, warehousing, and export activities will be facilitated, playing a significant role in the overall economic development of the region.
