Coop-Fest Pramod Kumar Thakur the strong man of the cooperative world from Uttrakhand got important national cooperative leaders lined up on the occasion of the COOP-Festival 2015 held by the ICM Dehradun this weekend.
In the Coop festival the students of ICM presented cultural programmes and thrilled the guests. In 2015 different institutes of Uttrakhand region participated. On the occasion, various programmes like ADD-MAD-SHOW, Business Quiz, were attended by around 300 students.
The ICM institute-housed in an impressive building had been dolled up for the occasion. It is a part of NCCT the training arm of the national apex cooperative body NCUI has recently added MBA course for its students.
Pramod is the Chairman of ICM Dehradun by virtue of being the Chairman of Uttrakhand State Cooperative Federation. He is also a Governing Council member of the NCUI.
Several important leaders including Chandra Pal Singh Yadav, President of NCUI and Bijender Singh, Chairman of 
NCCF were present on the occasion. While Yadav was the chief guest, Dinesh Agrawal the forest and sports minister chaired the show.
Addressing the youngsters, Chandra Pal said that Dehradun ICM is doing a praiseworthy work under the championship of Pramod Singh Thakur among all 22 Cooperative Management institution located in different states. He thanked to the officials of ICM for giving knowledge about cooperatives to students.
There were several special invitees including Sanjay Sharma, member of State Public Service Commission, Sunil Jain, Chairman of Tula Institute and others.
The audience was much impressed with the show that they posted their reactions on FB wall describing it as “awesome”. While some congratulated Singh for a successful show, others complemented him for focusing undivided attention on making the cooperative movement popular in the state.
On the occasion Uttrakhand Govt. Forest and Sports Minister Dinesh Aggarwal said” I hope that in future Pramod Kumar Singh will introduce such courses in this institution as will get the institution national level or international recognition. He praised students for maintaining discipline as well as for their keen interest in achieving a bright future.
Dheradhun District Cooperative Bank, Chairman, Dr K S Rana, Udhamsingh Nagar District Cooperative Bank, Chairman, Subash Behar, KRIBHCO, State Marketing Manager, Gajendra Singh Rana, UCF, MD, Ajay Sharma, Sunil Jain, ICM Officials including Rajiv P.Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
ICM, Chairman, Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh thanked all the students for their participation and proposed a vote of thanks.
