In a bold move to redefine the future of entrepreneurship, the ICA Domus Trust (IDT) and Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society (ULCCS) are gearing up to host Coop Pitch 2024, a pioneering event aimed at fostering cooperative entrepreneurship among the youth.
The event is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 18, 2024, at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), in Kerala. The competition will focus on five crucial themes that address some of the most pressing issues of our time: Agri-tech and Safe Food, Care Economy and Social Sector, Platform Cooperatives, Sustainability & Green Economy, and Education and Skills. Each theme represents an area where cooperative business models can make a significant impact, whether by introducing innovations in agriculture, improving social care, promoting eco-friendly practices, or enhancing educational and skill development initiatives.
Coop Pitch 2024 is not just about recognizing great ideas; it’s about putting them into action. The top teams will share a prize pool of Rs 1,00,000, with the first-place winner receiving Rs 50,000, the second-place winner Rs 30,000, and the third-place winner Rs 20,000.
