Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation (GUJCOMASOL) has scaled new heights, recording an annual turnover of over Rs 10,000 crore in 2024–25, with profits and dividends reflecting unprecedented growth. The milestone was celebrated at the federation’s 64th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Gandhinagar on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

The meeting was graced by Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel, Deputy Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Jethabhai Bharwad, GUJCOMASOL Chairman Dileep Sanghani, Rajya Sabha MP Narhari Amin, Gandhinagar Mayor Miraben Patel, Director Jayesh Radadiya, MLA Ritaben Patel, Standing Committee Chairman Ashish Dave, and several cooperative leaders.

CM Patel, addressing the gathering, praised GUJCOMASOL for becoming a single-window solution for farmers by ensuring timely supply of fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides, and for promoting farmers’ produce under the “Vocal for Local, Local for Global” mission. He highlighted that the establishment of the Ministry of Cooperation under Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has given the cooperative sector fresh momentum, making Gujarat’s cooperative model a role model for the country.

Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel lauded GUJCOMASOL’s role not only in agri-input distribution but also in MSP procurement, stressing that its nearly 20% dividend payout reflects its commitment to “Prosperity through Cooperation.”

Chairman Dileep Sanghani noted that GUJCOMASOL’s turnover has grown from Rs 2,239 crore in 2017 to over Rs 10,275 crore in 2024–25. Net profit, once a modest Rs 5–8 crore, has surged to around Rs 76 crore, with income tax payments alone crossing Rs 14 crore annually. Fertilizer sales have reached nearly Rs 2,000 crore, certified seed sales have grown sixfold to Rs 158 crore, and MSP procurement touched 9.22 lakh metric tonnes worth about Rs 7,400 crore in 2024–25. He also announced plans to establish processing units in every district under the “One District, One Crop” initiative.

In recent years, GUJCOMASOL has diversified into value addition and organic products, expanding its “Diversification and Value Addition” division from a turnover of just Rs 2.19 crore to nearly Rs 50 crore. Projects like banana fiber extraction in Bharuch, mango and pomegranate processing in Kutch and Junagadh, and an oil mill at Amreli are creating new income streams for farmers while turning “waste into wealth.” The upcoming Integrated Agri-Logistics Park at Mehsana and the launch of the “GUJCO” brand further underscore its modern, farmer-centric vision.

Other leaders, including Deputy Speaker Jethabhai Bharwad, Vice Chairman Bipin Patel, and Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman Ghanshyambhai Amin, underscored GUJCOMASOL’s contributions in strengthening Gujarat’s cooperative model and aligning with corporate-level management standards.

Reflecting on its journey since being founded in 1960 by cooperative pioneer Tribhuvandas Patel, GUJCOMASOL has today emerged as Gujarat’s leading cooperative marketing federation, proving that with vision, innovation, and cooperation, farmers’ prosperity can be ensured at scale.
