GUJCOMASOL: BJP’s who’s who at launch of peanut oil

Only till the other day Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation (GUJCOMASOL) used to be a hotbed of Congress cooperators led by Natu Patel. Now BJP leaders could be seen thronging the place with the emergence of Dileep Sanghani as the Chairman.

Soon after taking over as the new Chairman Sanghani got a Peanut Oil launched in Amreli and he invited Union Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala and Gujarat BJP President Jitu Vaghani to do the honour.

These leaders were on Gujarat Gaurav Yatra in Amreli. The State Agriculture Minister Vallabhai Vaghasiya was also present at the launch of the plant.

In a chat with Indian Cooperative, after the event Sanghani said “Today Gujarat BJP President Jitu Vaghani and others have launched the Peanut Oil product started by GUJCOMASOL. It is decided to sell the product through the channels of more than 30 marketing units of the federation”, he said.

“15 litre good quality peanut oil costs about Rs 1400 and it’s a small initiative taken by us”, he said to this correspondent who covered Vaghani in Amreli during the Gujarat Gaurav Yatra.

Readers would recall that earlier addressing the AGM of GUJCOMASOL Chairman announced plans to set up peanut butter manufacturing plants in the state.

“For setting up a small plant, a minimum investment of Rs 6 crore is required. We plan to set up plants and begin supplying peanut butter within a one year”, Sanghani said during the AGM.
