There are allegations that Bihar MPs and Legislators Housing Construction Cooperative Society has indulged in infractions of rules in the allotment of houses for Parliamentarian, MLAs and MLCs of the state.
Recently the issue was raised in the Legislative Council and Council Chairman Tara Kant Jha promised that the matter would be investigated by the registrar general of Bihar Housing Cooperative Society.
Bihar state cooperative minister has also indicated that the matter would be fully enquired into and appropriate action taken.
The Registrar General is expected to give his report soon.
The housing cooperative society for parliamentarians and state legislators has often come in for criticism for botching up things. Information that even Bihar is sliding into a situation of frauds and corruption has riled those who admire the present regime in the state.
