The cooperative movement, which touches the lives of over 30 crore Indians, has a rich legacy of aligning with national interests. From providing relief during natural calamities to supporting the government during the pandemic and promoting self-reliance in rural India, cooperatives have repeatedly demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the nation’s welfare.
The overwhelming response to Operation Sindoor underscores once again that cooperatives are not merely economic institutions—they are deeply patriotic platforms rooted in the values of unity, service, and sacrifice.
As one senior cooperator aptly said, “We may work at the grassroots, but our spirit is national. Today, every cooperator salutes the valor of our Armed Forces.”
Launched in the early hours of Wednesday morning, Operation Sindoor was a well-coordinated and precise military operation aimed at dismantling terrorist camps and launch pads across the border.
Conducted using a combination of air and ground strikes, the operation was designed to neutralize threats to national security and send a strong message against cross-border terrorism.
Cooperators across the nation, in standing firmly behind the Armed Forces, have reaffirmed their role as guardians of India’s democratic and patriotic spirit.
