Reports of cooperators celebrating the 71st Independence Day with full enthusiasm are pouring in from several parts of the country. From small to big-all co-operatives have participated in the great national festival on Tuesday.
The apex body of Cooperatives National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) President Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav said “Salute to the Nation and best wishes to all my fellow cooperators on the joyous occasion of 71st Independence Day.
NAFSCOB Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani celebrated the Independence Day offering his best wishes to the Nation as well as his followers.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi hoisted the tricolor in its Kalol Unit in Gujarat along with the staff members and their families. He inspected the Parade and addressed the gathering present on the occasion.
Dehradun based District cooperative bank Chairman Dr K.S.Rana hoisted the national flag at the corporate office.
Rana posted photographs and wrote on social media “On the occasion of Independence Day, hoisted the national flag at the district cooperative bank headquarter. Happy Independence to all!
The district cooperative bank employees participated in the flag hoisting ceremony and sang the national anthem.
Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh hoisted the National Flag together with CRPF jawans at his residence in New Delhi.

Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma hoisted the tricolor at his residence in Lucknow and wrote on Social Media “Bharat Mata ki Jai, Jai Hind”.
