The 41st Annual National Conference of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM)-NATCON 2025-opened in New Delhi on Thursday with a strong emphasis on creating a future-ready and inclusive workforce aligned with the national vision of *Viksit Bharat@2047*.
Held at Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, the two-day event has brought together over 600 delegates, including policymakers, industry leaders, academicians, and HR professionals, to deliberate on the evolving role of human resources in national development.
IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, who is also Chairman of NCUI and GUJCOMASOL, underlined that an essential pillar of a Viksit Bharat is inclusive growth that prevents excessive concentration of wealth. He said the cooperative model, based on mutual aid and collective effort, provides a sustainable path for equitable development.


Demonstrating IFFCO’s commitment to social equity, Sanghani announced that the organization has enhanced the minimum net wage for contract workers to Rs 20,000 per month, effective November 1, 2025. The move, he said, reinforces the organization’s focus on fairness and respect for every worker’s contribution.
R.P. Singh, Director (HR) of IFFCO and Chairman of the Organising Committee, said the conference theme, Viksit Bharat: Envisioning Growth through People and Technology,” captures the essence of preparing India’s workforce for the future. He stressed that technology should be used not just to improve efficiency but also to empower people, enhance their capabilities, and build a resilient, future-ready workforce that can drive India’s transformation into a developed nation.
NIPM National President Dr. M.H. Raja observed that NATCON 2025 aims to encourage organizations to integrate sustainability and human-centric leadership into their strategies. K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC and Conference Chairman, emphasized the need for a technology-enabled workforce, while Mahendra Swaroop, Conference Advisor, said the wide range of sub-themes- from technology to nation-building-encourages deeper exploration of people-led transformation.
The first day concluded with the HR Excellence Awards Ceremony recognizing best practices in HR and people management across industries. A national-level quiz for students was also conducted, with winners felicitated at the event.
With the participation of leading cooperative and corporate figures, NATCON 2025 reaffirmed the growing role of inclusive HR leadership and cooperative values in shaping a Viksit Bharat@2047.
