Bihar strongman Sunil Singh got elected all men of his choice as the returning officer R K Singh finally put up the names of the 17 Directors who won unopposed in the apex marketing cooperative federation of Bihar, Biscomaun. There is not a single man not close to “Chairman sahib”, said an old staff on condition of anonymity.

Some of the old GC members not to be found are Narendra Singh, Ramashray Ram, Nagendra Yadav and Manju Kumar. Some of them could not clear the first round of election on 25th March and some of them are too sick to be in the race.
About 30 people had submitted their nomination papers. Some of them wanted to join panel of Sunil Singh but withdrew when the latter refused to take them in the panel. The winners were declared without a vote being cast.
A jubilant Sunil Singh dared the state cooperative minister Jai Kumar Singh and said he too would have lost without securing even 4-5 votes. Readers would note that the state govt earlier went to the High Court seeking stay on the election but timely intervention by the Supreme Court brought relief to Sunil Singh and team. On April 20 Sunil Singh is going to be elected the Chairman without fail, said an insider.
