Cooperators across the country have hailed the Supreme Court verdict on the centuries-old dispute over the ownership of a plot of land in Ayodhya. The judgement paved the way for construction of a temple at a site which Hindu groups believe is the revered birthplace of Lord Ram.

Talking to Indian Cooperative, NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav said, “Respecting the constitutional arrangement is paramount and I accept the SC verdict in all humility and also ask others to do so. When two brothers fight it is natural that only one of them would win”, he underlined.

On his twitter wall IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote, “Welcoming the 5 bench apex Supreme Court order of giving the disputed land to Hindus for the #RamMandir and giving the alternate land 5acre land to Muslims. A good peaceful resolution to the entire issue. Let’s maintain the peace & harmony.

Jyotindra Mehta, President of NAFCUB also shared his reaction and wrote on his Facebook wall, “Act of God”.

Sharing his reaction through social media, RBI Central Board Director and Veteran Cooperator Satish Marathe wrote, “Desh Badal Raha Hai ! At this point let us not forget the untiring efforts of Moropantji, Acharya Girirajji, Ashok Singhalji and Others to build a magnificent Ram Temple ! As India moves ahead, let us remember that a Historical Wrong is being corrected at Ayodhya” ! !

NAFSCOB and Gujcomasol Chairman Dileep Sanghani wrote, “The family expressed happiness by lighting a lamp in the home when the historic decision on Ayodhya Ram’s birthplace came”.

“I welcome the decision given by the Supreme Court on Ram temple, this decision will strengthen the unity of India. Everyone is requested to contribute towards creating peace and harmony”, wrote Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Social Media.

Similarly, Union Chemical and Fertilizer Minister Sadananda Gowda wrote on his twitter wall, “Honourable SC has accepted the sentiments of religion’s and declared the judgement. Which upholds the people’s respect towards the judiciary”.
