The Odisha govt has begun a serious campaign against hoarding and black marketing of fertilizers in the state. The anti-corruption department is active verifying scores of locations throughout the state.
Official sources say, the campaign is aimed at elements hell bent on creating an artificial crisis of fertilisers during the sowing season.
The sleuths of the vigilance dept are verifying godowns of stockists, different fertiliser agencies and business premises of wholesalers/retailers in the state.
