MMTC invites bids for import of fertiliser

The last date for submission of bids is July 28, the company said in a notice on its website.
MMTC has sought the delivery of five varieties of complex fertilisers between August this year and January, 2012, at the New Mangalore and Tuticorin ports.
According to official estimates, fertiliser demand is estimated to be 4 per cent higher at 28.8 million tonnes in the ongoing kharif (summer) crop year, compared to 27.7 million tonnes in the year-ago period.
