Factory production is on but not the Corporate office: Kribhco MD

Responding to the Corona Virus scare, Kribhco Managing Director Rajan Chowdhry said there is no option but to close down the Corporate office. Kribhco’s Corporate office is situated in Noida and the border between the two-Delhi and Noida has been sealed.

This is a time to observe maximum precaution and we closed down our corporate office on 23rd March, said Rajan while emphasizing that many of Kribhco employees come from Delhi and they face hardship in coming due to the sealing of borders.

Kribhco plants are running with minimal staff-members, informed Rajan who has recently taken over as MD and probably this is his first brush with a non-fertilizer related crisis- due to an unprecedented situation.

Underlining that Urea is an essential item as classified by the govt, Rajan Chowdhry said there are some issues in the transportation but I along with my team review the situation on a daily basis. “We have managed so far well wherever our stuff gets unloaded”, he added.
