Vasudha inaugurates MBA version of agri-management course

An inaugural function of Post Graduate Diploma (PGDM)- Agri-Business Management (ABM) was held recently at Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune, in which Vasudha Mishra, IAS and the Chairperson VAMNICOM was the chief guest.

More than 75 students altogether from various parts of the country took admission to the PGDM-BDM course which is equivalent to MBA.

On this occasion, Vasudha communicated with the students asking them about their future aspirations. She also explained how they could prepare themselves on the campus for realizing their goals.

She assured the students that they could get excellent academics on the campus as well as opportunities to design projects that could serve humanity. Participating into this interaction, students introduced themselves and shared their views about future aims in life.

VAMNICOM also launched its Working Paper Series on this occasion. Mrs Mishra unveiled the Institute’s first Working Paper on a timely theme –“Financial Capability – A New Paradigm of Financial Literacy” authored by Prof D.V. Deshpande & Prof Anshu Singh.

Several dignitaries including top bureaucrats working in the govt of India attended the function. Dr. Anil Karanjakar Dean Academics moved a vote of thanks on the occasion.

Being the ace co-op training institute in the country, Vamnicom had recently conducted a program at its campus on the subject of Data Analytics and Applied Machine Learning, in which Prof Swagato Chatterjee from IIT Kharagpur & Prof Prasenjit Mandal from IIM Kolkata were the eminent guest speakers.
