VAMNICOM to hold Annual Convocation thru’ digital mode

VAMNICOM will hold its Annual Convocation for the 26h batch of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management Agri Business & Management (PGDM-ABM) students on Tuesday 24 November, 2020, through digital mode due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Andhra Pradesh governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan will be the Chief Guest and deliver this year’s convocation address. Dr. K. K Tripathy IES Director VAMNICOM will deliver the welcome address. Students who have successfully completed PGDM-ABM 2018-2020 (26th Batch) will be awarded certificates and meritorious medals.

The PGDM-ABM course is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. Association of Indian Universities has recognized this course as equivalent to M.B.A. degree.

The PGDM-ABM (2018-2020 Batch) students are drawn from different parts of the country. 78.8% students are from core Agriculture background and the rest are from Agro allied/ Commerce/Sciences/Technology/Engineering streams etc. Various scholarships such as NCUI, VAMNICOM and Maharashtra State Social Welfare scholarships are provided to the students.

This year all the PGDM-ABM students have got placements in various reputed organisations including NAFED, HDFC Bank Ltd., GCMMF- AMUL and others.

PGDM-ABM Students, Parents, Alumni, Recruiters, Guests, Faculty, Staff and, Press & Media (Print & Electronic) will attend the event.
