Vamnicom boy gets placement at Rs 13 lac; average at Rs 8 lac

The ace co-op institution Vamnicom conducted the valedictory function of 28th batch of PGDM-ABM recently at the Shivneri Auditorium in Pune. The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. Nitin Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Prof. Hema Yadav, Director, VAMNICOM, Dr. D. Ravi, Joint Programme Director, Dr. R. Jayalakshmi, Placement Director, Registrar, faculty members, invited guests, Alumnis and PGDM-ABM students attended the Valedictory function.

Dr D. Ravi, Joint Programme Director presented the report of the programme on the occasion. He informed that since its inception in 1993, the programme has attained several milestones including award of MBA equivalence by AIU in 2001 and accreditation by NBA in 2015.

Ravi also informed all 87 students got placement with the highest package of Rs 12.56 lakhs and the average package at Rs 8 lakhs. He also highlighted the rigorous 1200 hours of teaching and training to the students during two years.

All 71 students of First Year (29th Batch) got summer placement in 26 different organizations which is going to commence from 20th April, 2022, said Ravi.

Some of the students shared their interesting experiences of their two years association with VAMNICOM.

Prof Hema Yadav thanked Prof. Nitin Karmlakar, Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University for sparing time. In her speech, she expressed her best wishes to the students.

Prof. Nitin Karmlakar, during his speech, highlighted the various aspects of higher education and also discussed MoU with VAMNICOM.

Despite the COVID situation in the world, the students had attained their target by the support of all stakeholders. The students had expressed their happiness over their association with VAMNICOM.

Dr R. Jayalakshmi extended the votes of thanks to all guests and expressed her satisfaction over 100% placement of all 87 students who represented 14 states of India.
