Pune based prestigious co-op training institute Vamnicom in collaboration with Confederation of NGOs of Rural India is organizing a two days global conclave on 12th & 13th February 2021.
A group of (25-30) innovative progressive farmers are joining the conclave physically at Committee Room, Pune, and will share their live models of linking farmers to the market.
The highlight of the conclave will be charting the way forward to ensure right platform for agriculture commodities.
The conclave would be inaugurated by Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Som Prakash and valedictory address would be given by Union Minister of Agriculture Narendra Singh Tomar.
The topic of the event is Structural Changes Required for Innovative Agriculture Value Chain: Opportunities ahead for collectives. It will be through virtual mode.
“The Global Conclave aims to bring together leading academicians, co-operatives leaders, FPO’s Progressive farmers, scientists, researchers to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all overall aspects of Global Value Chain for agriculture Commodities”, claims the invitation sent by Vamnicom to Indian Cooperative.
The objective is to provide a premier platform for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered in the supply of agriculture commodities.
It is also to understand the opportunities and propose further action to restructure the value chain through modern methods at global level, claimed the release.
This program is specially designed for practitioners, academicians, research scholars, Farmer Producer Organization, Cooperatives, Collectives, Agriculture practitioners, Non-Government Organizations, Self Help Groups, and Rural Development, working on linking producers to market at local, National and Global levels.
The pedagogy would emphasize participative learning and insights into practical situations through online mode and special 30 minutes will be kept for Question and answer sessions for solving the queries of the audience in virtual mode.
