Souharda’s short-term Diploma course a hit among students

The Board Of management of KSSFCL which decided to start a short-term Diploma in Cooperation and Banking Management (DCBM) course has successfully imparted the training to three batches so far.

The first batch which comprised 182 members was successfully completed towards the end of the last year. Later, 272 members took part in the second batch and the 3rd Batch of the course has started this year, according to a press release.

This short-term Diploma in Cooperation and Banking Management (DCBM) is for Souharda Cooperatives and for the general youths with a broad focus on serving the whole cooperative and the Banking sector.

The Souharda employees, the youth or cooperative leaders can take up this DCBM course with a wide coverage. This can be helpful for their growth in respective cooperative institutions as well as in the cooperative movement in general.

There will be a two-day contact class for every two months. The first contact class was held on 20 and 21st of February 2021 at Bangalore, Belgaum, Ankola and Mudhol centers. And on 27th and 28th Feb at Shivamogga, Udupi, Examba and Gangavathi centers.

Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd., (KSSFCL), Bangalore, a regulatory body for the Souharda cooperatives is conducting Training and Education activities for the Souharda Cooperatives of Karnataka.

The training programs are held for presidents, office bearers, directors, and staff members at regular intervals, informs a press release.

There had been a persistent demand from Souharda cooperatives for beginning a long-term training program for employees to help them with their appointments and promotions.
