The less said about it the better. The visionary Prime Minister saw that from green revolution to white and blue ones, co-ops have played a stellar role and a separate ministry for cooperation is the need of the hour.

Subsumed under agriculture few realized the role played by co-operatives, but now the difference would be clear. It is cooperatives which have lent strength to agriculture.

R S Sodhi

It’s a revolutionary step by @PMOIndia recognising the role cooperatives can play in creating big businesses by small holders/farmers /workers/traders.”
