Sahakar Bharati has given a call to those working in the cooperative sector to dedicate a couple of years of their life to the cooperative movement in the country. The cooperative body has been able to rope in about 26 such dedicated people who have been active in various parts of the country for the past one year.
Taking cue perhaps from the RSS which has grown into the present shape by inducting full-time pracharak( Prime Minister himself is a RSS pracharak) Sahakar Bharati has also chosen to use the idea to transform the cooperative movement, says senior cooperator Uday Joshi.
Joshi talked to Indian Cooperative during one of his visits to Delhi and expounded at length the plan Sahakar Bharati has for strengthening the cooperative movement in the country. “Out of 650 districts we have been able to enter 430 so far. We are also in 27 states out of 36”, he informed.
It is the birth centenary of our founder Laxmanrao Inamdar and we wish to lend as much structural strength to the organization as possible. He also talked about various cooperative cells Sahakar Bharati has been able to organize over the last couple of years.
