Randhir induction augurs well for movement: Sunil

Cooperators may have personal relationship with a particular politician but in essence they are non-partisans said Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Singh to Indian Cooperative Monday morning. “I was not able to take your call as I was busy with my guardian Laloo Prasad Yadav who is presently caught in choppy waters”, he added.

Amidst whispers of a danger brewing for Biscomaun in the wake of the BJP’s return to power in the state, Sunil said Biscomaun is past all these and now we are more into helping farmers of the state. “Thanks to IFFCO MD Dr Awasthi, Biscomaun was able to help farmers save Rs. 400 crore an amount they had to spend earlier in buying urea from the black market” he underlined.

To tell you the truth it augurs well that Rana Randhir Singh has taken over as the cooperation minster and my gut feeling is that the cooperative movement is going to benefit from his induction, Sunil said.

Explaining this he said “Randhir belongs to Motihari, from where the union agriculture minister hails ; there would be a symbiotic relationship between the two which would be of help to the farmers of the state ; if you ask me I have a feeling Radhamohanbabu must have played a role in Randhir being offered the cooperative affairs portfolio.”, Sunil theorized.

On a question if he knows Rana Randhir from before Biscomuan Chairman said” I know everyone and everybody knows me”. Later he named his father Sitaram Singh who was with RJD and Lalu Prasad Yadav for a long time.

Underlining the fact that he has nothing to do with politics except his personal relationship with Laloo Prasad Yadav Biscomaun Chairman said “I am not the one to leave a friend (guardian in this case)in the hour of crisis; in fact earlier I used to go after 2-3 days to him in the past but now I go everyday; this is my character and I have no qualms about it”.

He said he is eager to help the govt in its goal of helping farmers but if the worst comes to the worst he is not going to chicken out.
