Pune People’s Co-op Bank holds 72nd AGM; announces 12% dividend

The Pune People’s Cooperative Bank organized its 72nd Annual General Meeting recently, in which the bank announced to give a 12 percent dividend to its shareholders. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Adv. Subhash Mohite.

In his speech, he said that the total business at the end of the financial year on 31.3.2023 has crossed the milestone of Rs 2319.05 crore. Besides, the net profit of the bank was 13.77 crore and the net NPA of the bank was zero percent.

“The CRAR of the bank stood at 13.77. The total deposits and loans & advances stood at Rs 1401 crores and Rs 918 crore respectively”, Mohite informed.

He further added, the Bank always carries out social welfare activities, including health check-up for the members and account holders on the anniversary of branches, health camps, distribution of useful items to the pilgrims going to Wari, assistance to the police force for the Ganpati Visarjan procession, Labour Welfare activities.

The Head Office and all the branches of the bank are computerized and CBS is adopted by the bank. The bank has provided all modern banking facilities to its members and account holders such as ATM facility, mobile banking, fund transfer facility e.g. RTGS,IMPS, etc. The bank has its own well equipped training centre, the Chairman added.

At present the bank has a network of 21 branches and 1 extension counter.

On the occasion of the Annual General Meeting, the bank felicitated and honored members, account holders and their relatives who have achieved excellence in various fields.

The bank Chief Executive Officer Vijayakumar Shelke anchored the meeting and answered many queries raised by members.

The bank Vice-President Mrs. Vaishali Chhajed gave a vote of thanks.
