LINAC Regional Training Centre, Bhubaneswar conducted a two-day Online Training Program on “General Management in Primary Level Cooperatives” on 18th-19th June, 2020.
The training program was especially designed for Secretaries, Accountants, Cashiers etc. of Primary Level Cooperative Societies with special focus on women cooperators and women cooperative societies.
The program was held under the guidance of Sundeep Kumar Nayak, IAS, Managing Director, NCDC & Lt. Col. Bikramjit Singh, Chief Director, LINAC, Regional Training Centre, LINAC, Bhubaneswar, says a press note issued by the center.
The training program was organized for 94 nominated participants from different Primary Level Cooperative Societies of Odisha representing different districts across sectors including agriculture, credit, textiles, fisheries etc.
The program was hosted by LINAC, Gurugram and co-hosted by RTC, LINAC, Bhubaneswar.
Welcoming the faculty members and participants Dr R.N. Gopal, Regional Director, NCDC, Bhubaneswar explained the objective of the training program. He underlined the importance of training cooperative professionals of primary level cooperatives to develop concepts of management among them.
S.P. Rath, Ex- Regional Director of NCDC, Bhubaneswar &BramhanandaParida, Dy. Secretary, Odisha State Cooperative Union and Patanjali Tripathy, Retd. JRCS, Odisha also addressed the two-day event.
The list of fisheries cooperatives may be annexed, preferably with respective credit rating and general profile. The data can help in planning and implementation of various cooperative development programs.
