NCUI organized a two day teachers’ training programme of Kendriya Vidyalaya School Teachers recently in Delhi. More than 50 teachers from 10th-12th standard with Economics, Commerce and Social Sciences background of KVS schools in Delhi and NCR took part in the programme.
Inaugurating the programme, N. Satya Narayana, Chief Executive, NCUI said the cooperative business model is the best model compared to the public and private sectors. He urged teachers to encourage students to start cooperative consumer stores on their campuses.
Dr V.K. Dubey, Director, NCCE welcomed the guests.
Several sessions during the programme focused on topics such as – cooperative principles, cooperative values, management and legal aspects of cooperatives, youth participation in cooperatives, formation of cooperatives and mock cooperatives, etc.
