Identifying strength of Agribusiness: Vamnicom brainstorms

The Centre for Management Education (CME) of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) Pune conducted the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) cum Workshop on the “Identification of Core Competencies of the Agribusiness Professionals” last week at the Institute’s Campus.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. K. K. Tripathy, Director, VAMNICOM, Pune. A total of 21 faculties of the Institute and visiting faculty, involved in teaching in the Institute’s PGDM-ABM program attended the workshop.

The workshop was the part of Institute’s Research Project titled “Assessment of the Core Competencies of the Agribusiness Professional in India: A Study to Develop a Strategy for Agribusiness Development”.

It is being sponsored under the “Impactful Policy Research in Social Sciences” (IMPRESS) scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MoHRD).

The Project is being implemented through the Indian Council of Social Sciences (ICSSR), New Delhi.

The project team comprised of Dr. K. K. Tripathy, Director, Dr. D.Ravi, Joint Prog Director, CME, and Dr. S. K. Wadkar, Faculty, CME, VAMNICOM, Pune.
