GUJCOMASOL holds 53rd AGM

gujcomasol 1Ahmadabad recently witnessed a mega cooperative event in which cooperators from Delhi to Gujarat were sharing the dais together. The occasion was holding of 53rd AGM as well as inauguration of new building of Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation (GUJCOMASOL), apex cooperative body in the state.

GUCOMASOL got its new building Sahakar Bhavan inaugurated at Navrangpura in Ahmadabad at the hands of IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi. The Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank and Ahmadabad District Central Cooperative Bank Shri Ajay Bhai Patel was the chief guest of the function.

While GUJCOMASOL Chairman Shri Natwarlal Patel presided, NAFED vice-chairman Shri Bijendra Singh and Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman Shri Ghanshyam Bhai Amin were guests of honour.

GUJCOMASOL serves lakhs of farmers in Gujarat. The 53rd AGM of Gujarat state cooperative Marketing Federation was also held in the Tagore hall, in which large number of cooperative leaders the state were also present.

After welcoming of all guests, GUJCOMASOL chief executive Shri Manoj Bhai M Patel presented the annual report. The cooperative representatives approved all agendas hands down.

The Chairman Shri Natwar lal expressed his thanks and exhorted the cooperative leaders to continue with the cooperation and unity for the development of the cooperative movement.

IFFCO came for special praise as he talked about the fertilizer distribution work through GUJCOMASOL and appreciated its role. Due to the good rainfall in the state, fertilizer demand from all institutions came simultaneously but even in this crisis, GUJCOMASOL has been able to cater the demand of fertilizer with the help from IFFCO, he said.                                                                                                                                         

He also informed the gathering that GUJCOMASOL is on the growth path as its turnover during the financial year 2013-2014 has gone up to Rs 2143cr from the rs 1368 cr of the last year. It means 56% growth, he emphasized.

GUJCOMASOL Head office will be shifted to the new office building N.P.Patel Sahakar Bhavan on the eve of Diwali.
