CM Rawat participates in NAFSCOB meeting

National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (NAFSCOB) held its board meeting in Dehradun, Uttarakhand last week.

The state chief minister Harish Rawat who participated in the event underlined the importance of cooperatives in the country. One of the cooperators was quoted as saying the chief minister praised the Bihar cooperative model.

Among others, NAFSCOB chairman Dileep Sanghani, Vice Chairman Ashok Bajaj, Ramesh Chandra Chaubey, MD, B. Subrahmanyam, Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh and others veteran cooperative leaders were present on the occasion.

Readers would recall that earlier NAFSCOB had held its board meetings in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

During his Dehradun visit Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh visited the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), where he was felicitated by the ICM Chairman Pramod Kumar Singh and staff members.
