CM pays glowing tributes to Amin; Bhavan named after him

Gujarat Chief minister Bhupendrabhai Patel recently inaugurated the completely renovated building ‘as ‘the Shri Ghanshyam Amin Sahakar Bhawan” and released Amin’s pictorial biography ”Let My Life Be Dedicated to The Service to Mankind” as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav in Ahmedabad.

In his remarks on the occasion, Patel profusely praised Amin for his sincerity, hard work, and his noble mind.

The function was presided over by Ghanshyambhai Amin Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Union and Aslali Seva Sahkari Mandali. It was attended by leading Cooperators and dignitaries, informed by a press release.

On this occasion, a Maha Mega Medical Check-up Camp was also inaugurated by Lion’s District Governor Jagdishchandra Agrawal.

It is worth mentioning that the people of Aslali and the Board of Directors of Mandli resolved to name the renovated building ” Ghanshyam Amin Sahakar Bhavan’ in appreciation and commemoration of services rendered by Ghanshyambhai Amin for consecutive 25 years as Chairman of Aslali Seva Sahakari Mandli as well as services rendered by him in the Cooperative Sector right from Primary Societies to District, State, National, and International level.

The chief minister also awarded Amin a citation for his incredible contributions to the cooperative sector on the occasion.

Speaking as Chief Guest, Jagdishbhai Vishvkarma, Minister of Cooperation of Gujarat described Ghanshyambhai as a veteran Cooperative Leader who should be titled as Cooperative University. His knowledge about the cooperative field is immense, the minister said.

Chairman of IFFCO and NCUI Deelipbhai Sanghani called the decision to name the renovated building after Amin’s name as commendable. “We know the power of cooperatives. Hon’ble Prime Minister has formed an exclusive Ministry of Cooperation and has coined a slogan “Prosperity through Cooperation”, said Sanghani.

Sanghani said that today there are about 35 developed Cooperative Sectors such as agriculture, credit, milk, labour etc. Hence there is no class of the society which is not associated with the Cooperative Sector. If we will work in unison, none can prevent Prosperity through Cooperation.

Narharibhai Amin, former Deputy Chief Minister and Member of Parliament and Babubhai J Patel, MLA of Dascroi Taluka addressed the function in consonance with the occasion.  Ajaybhai Patel, Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank and other leading cooperators and dignitaries graced the function.

In his presidential remarks, Ghanshyambhai Amin stated “we pledge to implement the motto of Prosperity through the Cooperation given by Hon’ble Prime Minister by making the masses self-reliant through Cooperatives and thereby making the nation prosperous. Moreover, I am highly thankful to the Board of Directors of the Mandli for naming the renovated Bhavan after my name.”
