Chanakya University VC praises Souharda for launching co-op studies

Prof Yeshwanth Dongre Vice Chancellor Chanakya University Bengaluru inaugurated Diploma in Cooperation and Banking Management course organised by Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, & Karnataka State Souharda Federal Co-Operative Ltd Bangalore (KSSFCL) recently.

On his inaugural speech Prof Dongre told that this is a very good move from both the institution in the cooperative field for development of education and professionality in co-operatives.  It is a new development in the co-operative sector.

“This is very useful to match the gap between the universities and the industries. This needs long term viability. The internship for youths in cooperative should be explored and then this programme will be a model programme”, said Dongre. The programme was presided by Sri VishnuKant Chatapalli Vice chancellor of KSRDPUR Gadag.

Speaking on the occasion Sri VishnuKant Chatapalli vice chancellor of Karnataka state rural development Panchayatraj University told that the university started its activities since 2017 and since then it is doing well specially for courses of rural development.

“We are open for any suggestions for the programmes of about the rural development. We focus on quality and our programmes will be branded programmes. Cooperation is a very good means for the rural development and it is my like subject and I am very happy that the Karnataka state souharda federal cooperative ltd Bangalore has come formed to with DCBM course collaboration with our university. We will do our best”, he stated.

G. Nanjanagouda President KSSFCL, Sri A. R. Prasannakumar Vice President, KSSFCL, Sri Sharanagouda G. Patil managing Director KSSFCL, Sri Manjunatha Channappagouda academic Special officer, Sri Abhay Gasti Programme coordinator of DCBM course from KSRDPRU Gadag officers of KSSFCL and more than 250 participants were present in this online inaugural function.

Manohar Maski ex MLC and founder Chairman of SUCO Bank told that the basic concept of professionalism will be in inculcated, through this course. It is a very good effort by both the institutions especially they have opened the doors of cooperative sector to the young co- operators.  He also urged to open many short-term courses.

G. Nanjanagouda President KSSFCL speaking on the occasion said it is very necessary to make youths to come to this co-operative sector so that the movement will grow faster & healthy youths will have the opportunity to develop their career in cooperative sector.

V J Karkun training officer of Karnataka state souharda federal cooperative ltd Bangalore explained the details of subjects and faculties of DCBM course and gave vote of thanks. Dr Abhay Gasti the programme coordinator narrated the programme.
