Parag’s sorry state of affairs!

akhileshA minister in UP while savoring a cup of Parag curd saw a piece of hair caught in the dairy product and began pulling his hair out. But the minister not letting his hair down made the Pradeshik Cooperative Dairy Federation’s hair curl. Caving in to the minister’s anger the PCDF issued orders giving its two highly experienced officials their marching orders and relegating other two officials to less important positions.

Meanwhile, the decision taken by the cooperative organization in haste triggered widespread anger among the workers causing them to hold out a threat of stopping the dairy plant. And in addition, the affected officials had decided to go to court for relief.

The unusual controversy appeared to rivet the chief minister and other higher authorities as well. That is to say, the developments in rapid succession forced the PCDF to revoke its arbitrary orders. Parag is a popular dairy brand managed by the PCDF in UP.

Sources say the affected officials refused to take things lying down and the PCDF management had to climb down. However, even the quick revocation of the orders has proven too late an attempt by the federation to save face, sources add.
