Mother Dairy to have All-India presence

The word is that mother dairy a synonym for milk in Delhi and the surrounding areas  will begin its operations in a big way  in other parts of the country.

The large scale expansion plan being meticulously worked out will be put into concrete action in the foreseeable future.

The dairy major will have its branches in Banglore, Chennai, Bombay and some other cities and towns in the south.

It is particularly focusing on its expansion in Uttar Pradesh. It is already active bonding itself with Pradeshik cooperative dairy federation, the organisation that coordinates the entire system of dairy development in Uttar Pradesh.

In a move redolent with mother dairy’s determination to spread out, it has  even begun covering Bihar. It has recently opened its branch in Chapra where nearly a million litres of milk is being collected daily.

Established in the early 70s, as a part of the national dairy development board, mother dairy has  grown into  a huge dairy entity. It has been posting a substantial growth over the years.

It boasts thousands of milk booths and safal outlets selling milk, vegetables and fruits in the capital and the areas adjoining it.
