The Gujarat State Cooperative Bank has achieved a lot in the preceding years. We present below a list of its achievements.
- Extended the benefits of agri-crop loans at 7% to 25 lakh farmers of the entire State and 4% to the farmers who repay their loans within due date with benefit of 3% interest subvention.
- NABARD has first time certified that Bank protects the interest of the depositors under Sec-23 of BR Act
- Helped the farmers availing loans from coop. Banks to get the benefit of 2% interest subvention to the extent of Rs.123 crores from Government of Gujarat.
- MOU with TCS through NABARD to link 15 District Cooperative Banks by CBS
- RTGS, NEFT, Stamp Franking, Negotiated Dealing System (NDS) and Safe Deposit Locker Facilities available.
- Successful re-functioning of Panchmahal District Cooperative Bank by removal of restriction imposed by RBI under Section 35(A)
- Infusion of capital assistance of Rs.84 crores by Government of Gujarat to attain eligibility for Banking License for Kutchh, Surendranagar, Baroda and Junagadh district cooperative Banks.
- Bank is awarded the first rank by NAFSCOB, India for the year 2011-12.
- Housing Loan and Vehicle Loan at reasonable rate for the public.
- Project for modern well equipped new Bank building and farmers’ hostel
- Obtained RBI license for opening of 6 branches in Ahmedabad city.
- Best Performing Co-operative Organisation Awarded by NCUI
