The results of the preliminary exam for the recruitment of Junior Clerk (under the direct recruitment quota) in the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank were announced on Thursday.
A total of 1,399 candidates have been shortlisted for the main examinations, which will be held soon.
The bank’s MD, Sharwan Manta, said, “The qualified candidates will be informed in due course about the schedule of the main examination to be conducted by IBPS, Mumbai, through email or SMS on their registered email IDs and phone numbers mentioned in the application form”, he informed.
More than 25,000 candidates participated in the online preliminary exams conducted by IBPS, Mumbai, on the 13th, 16th, and 17th of May 2024.
Readers will recall that in March 2024, the bank invited online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 232 posts of Junior Clerks (158 posts under the direct recruitment quota and 74 posts under the Society (PACS/OCS) quota).
Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank crossed the business mix of more than Rs 25,000 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 141.76 crore during the 2023-24 FY.
