Dear Sir
I CA Bhagirath Bari willing to File Public Interest Litigation against Co-Op Department Maharashtra
for enacting the law to provide for appointment of auditors by AGM.
I think that Auditor should be appointed by Co-Op Commissioner by transparent process so that
Auditor will give his true opinion.
Now a days what happens in Maharashtra, Most of Co-Op Societies audited by non CA auditors who not
having
that kind of knowledge and expertise that CA have. Ultimately, it will result in fradulent presentation
of financial statements as auditor is Non CA.
Thats why I want to file PLI to Bombay Highcourt for taking action in appointment of auditor so that
Money of Poor and Middle class of public will be saved. As you know what happened with Rupee Bank
Kindly give your opinion on the validity so that I can decide to move ahead or not
Mr Bari,
I appreciate your initiative to help all the account holders and depositors specially of Rupee co operative bank.The so called polititions come bank owners get the bank audited as per their convinience so that till the last moments account holders remains in dark about the financial condision of the co operative bank. Hats off to you for helping and becoming a whistle blower ifor this irregularities
