Can a member whose nomination was rejected in the elections of the society be co-opted as a functional director thereby being eligible to hold any position of an office bearer.

A functional director is primarily an employee of the housing society whether a member or not or may be a member having been held as disqualified to contest election or join Committee. He can participate in meetings of Committee but he is disqualified to become any office bearer or participate in election in his capacity as a functional director.
