I am the representative of one of the CHS in Pune Maharashtra.
In our society there are 115 Flats & 24 shops. Shop owners wish to pay only 30% of monthly maintenance on the ground that they do not use all the facilities.
Is it correct, Is there any rule pertaining to it. Please guide in this regard.

I have always wondered why members are indifferent towards looking up the registered bye laws of their Cooperative Society to find an answer to their questions? I have tried to find out the reasons alo and posted on this site. Even here the are lazy enough to read them.
Now I have decided to answer only those questions by those who provide information as to the year and place of registration of the housing society, a confirmation that they have purchased certified copy of their registered bye laws and according to them which Bye Law No covers their question. Those questioners who fail in this will be given response using assumed data and accuracy of the answer is not guaranteed. For this there will be a penalty of Rs 100 for every question which comes to me without the confirmation. So lets start wih this question itself.
