I would like to inform you that I was an employee of Larsen & Toubro -ECC Division , presently known as L&T Construction since 23rd July’98 to 30th July’2016. During my tenure I was registered myself as one member of the L&T Thrift & Credit Society and till last date I have enjoyed all merits & demerits of the society as per norms.
After discussion with the concerned person of the Society, I have submitted the “Membership Withdrawal Form” on 22nd Nov’16 and requested them to close my account and clear my all deposited amount duly settled at the earliest.
But surprisingly no proper response is received from them and typically all concerned persons are silent about closing my account and regarding my payment although they promised to pay me after 20th Nov’16. I have knocked the door of Senior Officials of L&T, but unfortunately they are also silent in this matter and not a single line reply received from them.
In view of above, I request you to advise me what I should do please. I shall be very much thankful if you advise me in this regards.

Cooperative Society has been held to be a Service provider to its members. What you described amounts to deficiency in service by your Cooperative Society. You have a right to complain to District Consumer Protection Forum. You will get faster and cheaper ruling in your favour.
