Please guide I have two flats with two different doors two separate light bills but one agreement in joint names, Society issued one share certificate, can we have two separate share certificates for both the flats in joint names as the loan availed is in joint names.

Yes. You can make an application to make the other flat holder an Associate member in respect og both the flats by entering name at second position. you can pay for 5 more shares and get another share certificate. Even if a member has minimum number of shares to become a member he need not buy more than 5 shares. You can buy more member of shares also as permissible under bye laws.
