I have some queries regarding Maharashtra Cooperative housing society. It will be very kind of you if you please answer them.
The questions are as follows:
1)As per the existing act and rules in Maharashtra is there any age bar on any person standing for election of committee members under the Maharashtra Cooperative Housing Society Act?
2)Is there any bar on the existing committee members of 15 years or more for standing in election for committee members?

There is no minimum age prescribed for a member of CHS to contest election to Committee. There is no maximum number of terms of a Committee member fixed under any provisions of Act Rules or Model Bye Laws of CHS. .
