My society is asking me to pay 500 rs as Puja fund, I said I wish not to attend Puja and hence I won’t pay it. They said you will have to pay it or else we will add it in maintenance.
Please guide me in this regards , as per several posts on Google I could see that society cannot force any individual to pay such funds.

You are right and do not pay. Let the Committee take it up legally. It will be ruled in your favour.
