I have purchased a flat in 2013 in South Goa, Benaulim. Since the transfer of the flat in my name is not yet done the society is demanding 2% of the sale deed amount which works out to over Rs.700000/-.I found that amount was too much and also arbitrarily being demanded .I needed to know from your good selves sir what are the rules laid out towards these charges

Amount payable to housing society upon transfer of flat is governed by Bye Laws of the Society. So look up the Bye Laws of your Society.
